Love Does Community Learning Center in Jordan

We hosted a Love Does camp this July for a group of children from Gaza who were recently evacuated and are now receiving medical care at a hospital in Amman, Jordan. During their recovery, the children have been staying in a hotel with few opportunities for play, connection, or learning. We saw this as a chance to step in with something beautiful. Through a week of recreation, creativity, and learning, we brought joy to these kids reminding them that they are seen, loved, and deserving of peace.

At the close of camp, we hosted a Back-to-School event where children received school supplies to step into the fall with hope and confidence and we’re not stopping there! Out of this summer, we are planting something new: the Love Does Community Learning Center in Jordan. This center will continue the work begun at camp offering education, encouragement, and care for children and families displaced by conflict and illness.
